In September of this year, Beech Class visited Kew Gardens where we explored the incredible plant life from across the world. We split up into groups and wondered around the gardens taking in the magnificent sights: from palm plants to aquatic plants and cacti to carnivorous plants. The children explored their learning about living things and the habitats they live in, and learnt more about Carl Linnaeus – one of the early developers of the idea of living things classification.
