Mark Making in Nursery
We love to encourage nursery children to make their mark. Providing the opportunities to do this through lots of different fun activities. Children relish in the sensory and physical experience of mark making. Mark making is more than just a scribble. It is the beginning of a child’s journey toward writing. Mark making can be shown in a range of ways, children can create patterns, lines, textures and shapes. We have encouraged the children to express themselves and explore new materials other than a pen and pencil.
